Program Materials
The goal of the Remember Us Project is to have each bar or bat mitzvah student remember one individual child lost in the Holocaust. In support of this, we provide the following printed materials:
Instructions are provided through brief, simple materials for the teacher, the family, and the student. To see the materials for the Orthodox community, click here. For all other denominations:

Mentors Guide, an eight-page booklet for the bar/bat mitzvah teacher or mentor outlining the program, the educational objectives, and potential outcomes. To see the Mentor’s Guide, click here - For each family
Parent Guide, a four-page pamphlet parents can use to decide on a child’s participation and suggestions for family acts of remembrance. To see the Parent Guide, click here. - For each student
Invitation to the Student, a one-page description of the program and suggested ways to participate. To see the Student Invitation, click here.
Memorial Page containing the name of one lost child and biographical information. To see the Memorial Page, click here.
Following the bar/bat mitzvah, a Certificate of Participation is available upon request.
To Request A Name
If you would like to request the name of a lost child to remember please fill out the Name Request Form. If the date of the bar/bat mitzvah is less than 14 days away we will send your name via email.
The Memorial Sheet for your lost child will be sent by regular mail. Read the Student Invitation, Parent Guide, Mentor’s Guide, and Newsletters for more information on how to do this mitzvah.
