Orthodox Program Materials
The goal of the Remember Us Project is to have each bar or bat mitzvah student remember one individual child lost in the Holocaust. In support of this, we provide the following printed materials:
Instructions are provided through brief, simple materials for the teacher, the family, and the student.
- For the teacher
Mentors Guide, an eight-page booklet for the bar/bat mitzvah teacher or mentor outlining the program, the educational objectives, and potential outcomes. To see the Mentor’s Guide, click here
- For each family
Parent Guide, a four-page pamphlet parents can use to decide on a child’s participation and suggestions for family acts of remembrance. To see the Parent Guide, click here.

Memorial Page containing the name of one lost child and biographical information. To see the Memorial Page, click here.
Following the bar/bat mitzvah, a Certificate of Participation is available upon request.
